Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older. The Service is intended for use by sellers on Whatnot or other supported platforms. You agree the information you provide at signup is accurate and current.

2. Account

We use passwordless magic-link sign-in via email. You are responsible for the security of your email account. Notify us immediately at hello@aftershows.co if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscription and billing

The Service offers a free tier (2 CSV uploads) and a paid subscription tier ($19/mo USD). Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe, billed monthly, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the in-app billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

Pricing may change. We will notify you via email at least 30 days before any price change to your subscription.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer or scrape the Service, (b) upload data you don't have rights to, (c) use the Service for unlawful activity, (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, (e) overload our infrastructure (rate-limit violations), or (f) resell access to the Service.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of CSV data you upload and the parsed sales records derived from it. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process the data to provide the Service to you. We do not sell or share your data except as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data anytime from your account settings.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, and content (excluding your data), is owned by AfterShows and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.

7. Third-party services

AfterShows is independent and not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Whatnot, Inc. Whatnot is a trademark of its owner. We rely on third-party services (Stripe, Resend, Vercel, Neon) to operate. Their availability and terms may affect the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AfterShows is an analytics tool and does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice. Schedule C and tax-export features are informational. Consult a qualified tax professional before filing. We do not guarantee accuracy of computations derived from your CSV data, especially in cases of malformed, incomplete, or modified source files.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AfterShows is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data loss, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AfterShows from any claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or for prolonged inactivity. You may close your account anytime from settings. On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days unless legal retention applies.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved in state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
